Carburetor Rebuild Warranty
We have very few problems with our carburetors. We spend a lot of energy making sure a rebuilt carburetor goes out the door without problems, but in case one slips by, our basic material and workmanship warranty is 12 months. Our warranty is a common sense warranty. If a something fails because of what we did, we will fix or replace the carburetor. We also will take care of the shipping.
We do not warranty owner induced problems. Here are a few examples.
Carburetor is corroded from water. This can happen with a marine carburetor.
Carburetor comes back with dirt in the float bowl, which results from contaminated gasoline, or the failure of not changing fuel filters before installing the rebuilt carburetor.
Fittings are stripped. We check all fittings before releasing the carburetor.
Other owner induced problems.
